Hi everyone!
I have recently adopted two beautiful domestic long-hair cats called Archie and Spike. They were both five years old and had been put up for rehoming for different reasons, and were together in a kennel. When my partner and I went to choose two cats, and we went in their pen, Archie, who is a big strong lovable ginger ball, miaowed frantically at us through the cage door and we fell instantly in love. When we moved away to debate whether to take Archie and Spike or two kittens we'd seen in another pen, poor Archie looked at us so mournfully as if to say "I tried my best". They are both settled and seem happy with us now.
I thought I'd join because of them, so that if ever I had a question or a funny story to share, I'd have someplace to go. I've always had cats since I was a little girl so I'll have plenty to contribute too. My name is Sharron, I'm 30, live in Northern England with my fiance Chris and the 2 cats, am addicted to the internet and playing guitar, love the Red Hot Chili Peppers and rock music in general, erm, and that's probably all you need to know but feel free to ask anything!
