I have noticed over the last 2 days that 1 of my cats has gone a white stuff cover the corner of both eyes.

My cat is about 18 months old and was taken for its flu/leucemia booster jabs about 5 days ago.

Here is a picture, sorry its not to clear she wouldnt sit still

Is there anything to be worryed about??

Looks like the third eyelid showing to me. Your kitty looks sick.(Maybe from the booster???) I`d call the vet and ask.

It does look like the 3rd eyelid showing. Usually that is a sign kitty is sick.Any discharge at all from the eyes?
I'd give your vet a call and mention it.

They do not 'scoot' like that unless they are in some discomfort, often from worms, or even form impacted anal glands. That and the eyes - I really think you should insist on her being seen.

Please let us know. It might be an after effect from the worming, boosters, etc BUT it might not be.

Hi all,
Well i took her today and they checked her over, gums, gave her a good feel over her belly....took her temp and everything seemed ok.

She did mate a hell of a mess on my nice cream bedroom carpet this morning: onfire: and they NEVER mess inside the house or at least havenâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t in the last year.

The vet gave her some injection (metacam if that means anything) and got to give her some drop things for 5 days (protexin pro k). Hopefully that will sort her out as she about ripped my hand to shreds clawing me everytime i changed gear

I'm sorry she soiled the carpet. I hope things clear up for her soon.

I've read where when the white is showing like that it can also be a sign of stress. While in this case I believe taking the kitty to the vet was the chief course of action, being that you knew she'd recently had medication introduced into her system, the white eyes isn't necessarily that alarming. My cats all looked like that when I moved them during a 5 or 6 hour trip. The next day they all looked terrible with white covering about a third of their eyes. I read up about it and learned stress can induce the phenomenon. In two days they settled down and started to get acclimated to the new apartment and then they were fine. Just thought I'd share in case anyone goes through this.

I would watch her closely & if she does not feel better real soon...contact your vet again.
Sorry about your carpet but your kitty did not do it on purpose, poor baby.
I think that you are doing a good job with her. I know that you care deeply.
Thanks for the update...keep us informed.
