I aquired a (now) 5 week old kitten a few weeks back. I've been bottle raising the baby and it's doing quite well. The problem is, it's getting older and older, and though I have never had any problem differentiating sex in kittens, this one REALLY has me fooled!!
I WANT it to be a boy (LOL) but it LOOKS female to me. However, back when I was stimulating it daily, I do admit there was quite a "bulge" when the genital area was wet (In the last pic, the kitten is damp). I "think" I may be able to feel testicles under the skin..... ???
I cannot get a tip of a penis to protrude at all. I do see, under the genitals when examined, a little urethtra, but it does NOT protrude.
The veterinarians I work for both determined this kitten as male when "he" first came in, which was about 2 1/2 weeks ago.
I'm going to try & post pics -- I HOPE they come through. If not, can someone let me know and maybe I can e-mail them directly.
