If it gets cold where you live, how do you keep warm when you go outside?
Do you wear hats or scarves?

Okay, lets say I'm crafty and can make you a scarf (if you wear them).... what colors in yarn would you want??

Do you like any outdoor winter sports? (Ski... etc.)

Mmmmm....
I love Partylite too, although it's quite pricey! My absolute favourite scent from them is strawberry-rhubarb, it's so divine! I have another tart that is strawberry-rhubarb but nothing tops the Partylite one!

I also love the smell of vanilla and like fruity scents as well.

It will soon be cold here in Jersey.

I love scarves, hats, mittens, etc.

Especially in purple or turquoise -- my favorite colors.

As for cat toys, Trent adores any honeysuckle toy. He keeps losing his and just when ti think I have to break open another package he finds it and brings one out again. I would love to be able to give him new ones, though. Too bad I can't find any locally!
I

My cats have never had a honeysuckle toy

I love candles that smell great WITHOUT burning them. None of my cats seem to remember they have tails, and I worry a lot about having to try to chase after a cat with a tail on fire.

My absolute favorite colors are deep red...(I call it wine colored) and wood tones.
I collect chicken and rooster figurines for my kitchen. I also have a lot of Native American Indian items...dance sticks, dream catchers, tomahawks, etc.
I love to sew. I've made various types of things, from clothing to curtains to throw pillows.
My cats have different likes: Emmy LOVES
furry mice. Samson
any toy that is meant to make him jump to catch and also things with bells and super bouncy balls. Ranger
rings from milk jugs. (Ranger is a strange little kitty
but he's cheap to "buy" for.)
Also, Emmy and Ranger both love catnip in any form.

For "me" time....I LOVE taking bubble baths, and I'm always in search of bubble bath with nice scent. I'm not into vanilla scents, or coconut.

I woudl like to tell my Santa that I collect shotglasses from different areas. If it's not too much trouble, I would love an inexpensive one from yuor area.

Anyone else collect things from different areas?

You guys are so funny, I laughed so hard at the terry cloth feels neat on the paws comment, and again at the they forget they have tails comment... :
:

Ohh I love candles too! I like yankee ones that are clean smelling, and ones that smell like fall are awesome too. to pamper myself I like to do face masks, always so much fun. My apartment is still pretty bare, so I dont have many picture frames (or pictures) to start with.

CJ likes the little caps off hair spray or body spray bottles, he loves to carry them around and they are what he loves to play fetch with. I have never heard of a honeysuckle toy before either. Cj doesnt react to catnip, so I wonder if he would like that....

New question, do you collect anything?

Ok, let's see if I can cover all the bases in one post...

Scents: I mostly don't wear scents, but gentle, fruity ones in toiletries are nice: vanilla, coconut, papaya, apricot... I mostly don't go for scented candles, because while there are some that are nice, lots are too heavily scented, so it's easier to just not go there
My favourite scents all have to do with foooooooooooooood!

Stuff for the house: No, don't go there -- I have soooooooooo much stuff I need to get rid of, I can't begin to think of what could be added. I think we've figured out where to hang the needlework that my Dad just finished -- but it's going to take some rearranging first.

Pampering: play in the kitchen, or cuddle my kitties -- and read if they'll let me.

Staying warm in winter: not an issue here -- it's more about staying DRY!

Now, anything to do with food is a possibility. And here I'll contribute some questions for those for whom this is also an interest:

Like to cook? or hate to cook?
Butter and cream? or low fat?
Sweets? or savouries?
Any particular gadgets you covet?
Any particular cookbook you covet?
For the recipes? or the ideas?
Any particular treat/food you can't get enough of?

Ok, can't think any more.
I'll come back later.

Woah, so many questions!

First off, I'll add some questions!

Favourite types of clothing accessory?
Dress style/favourite outfit?!
Pierced ears or not?
Favorite colour?
Favourite scent?

Gosh, I'll try to answer some of the other questions!

I love to cook and love full fat ingredients!

I love recipe books for the ideas, but also the recipes! Generally of the savory kind!
I like gadgets, but generally have too many!

I'll answer mine too!

I love all colours, so my favourite is rainbow!
I dress pretty much like a hippy!
I generally wear t-shirts with 80's cartoons on or funny images/sayings! I'm a bit scruffy!

Of course I have pierced ears!

Favourite scent is Lavendar, but I love lots of smells!

I think i'm pretty easy to buy for, as I love everything!!

I would love a dream-catcher for my new house! And the kits would love to try some of those honeysuckle toys - I never heard of them either.

Scents are vanilla - seems to be a favorite here! I love spicy scents too. Candles I don't do - with the birds it would be too dangerous - not only the flame but the oils the burning of the candle produces are bad for birdy lungs.

House decorations: bird and black cat doodads.
(Couldn't have guessed that one eh?) lovey lacy things too.

Pamper myself: socks with treads.

Cat toy: fuzzy balls - usually like sparkley yarn. All the cats love those!

I love cookbooks, especially the kind that are usually put together by churches, where the recipes are generally "local" vs. the kind of cookbook that is mass-produced, like Betty Crocker and Fanny Farmer types.

Here's my own question....with some of the requests/questions by others such as AbbysMom commenting on hoping for shot glasses from our area, and rapunzel47 asking if their is any gadget you covet, (finally here's the question) What do you think of getting something that's used, but is still in really good condition?
For example, I have recieved shot glasses for various reasons. If my SS were AbbysMom (which you aren't, Karen, sorry
), I would have several to give her from my own home.
Or with rapunzel47, someone may put a gadget that they covet, that could be a little pricey, but their SS may already have, and don't use.

Wow people have been busy since I went to bed!!!

Okay lets see:

Like to cook? or hate to cook? I love to cook. I haven't done much since DH has left for Iraq though. It isn't much fun to cook for just me.
Butter and cream? or low fat? Low fat. I'm currently living off Weight Watchers and Lean Cusine....
Sweets? or savouries? Both!!
Any particular gadgets you covet? I really need an electric hand blender.... they are inexpensive but it is something that I just haven't bought myself yet. lol
Any particular cookbook you covet? I love my curry and chilli cookbook as well as my fast and easy meals one that DH got me before he left for Iraq. I would love an Rachael Ray 30 min meals cookbook.
For the recipes? or the ideas? Mostly the ideas. I love making my own recipes as I go along but sometimes you need that little kick to get you going.
Any particular treat/food you can't get enough of? I miss the chocolate covered nutterbutters they had out over the summer!!!! But since I'm watching my figure now...
I love gum. HA HA HA

Favourite types of clothing accessory? Scarves and Sweaters
Dress style/favourite outfit?! Pin stripe pants!!!
Pierced ears or not? Yep.... a few times but I only use one hole on each lobe now. lol
Favorite colour? Pink.

Favourite scent? Light scents. Since I work in an allergy clinic I can't wear perfumes to work so I like lightly scented lotions like Oatmeal or the Gerber Grins and Giggles lavender baby lotion. BBW has a nice light one out, the cotton one and also they used to have one that was aloe.... I miss that one..... as well as Happy Daisy. Why do they always d/c the good ones???!!!

What do you think of getting something that's used, but is still in really good condition? Hey, I'm not going to turn away a nice hand me down expecially if it is something I need.
And when it comes to clothes, even if they are 'well loved' I'll take them. Its like a field day to find nice vintage clothes at a good will.

If you could pick something for your SS to include in your christmas package, what would it be?

Would you rather get something that you need or just want?
