Recently we found out about 7 feral cats being kept in a locked basement of an apartment building on the upper westside of Manhattan. They were put down their to get rid of rats which they did, but they were only being fed once a week. We took over their feeding and the cleaning of litter boxes, got them all spayed and neutered and vetted and where told they could stay down there, well now the building has been sold and the new landlord wants them out by Tuesday, Oct. 11, or they will be destroyed.
I am beside myself, and am desperately looking for any safe situation that
they can be relocated to, but this is going to be like hitting lotto.
