I saw this in an email the other day, but couldn't figure out how to post it here
. Doh! The curse of being computer challenged!
Anyway, it was a video clip from Animal Planet about a cat that had lost her kittens at the same time as a poodle had pups and wasn't looking after them properly. So the cat adopted the puppies! It was hilarious! She picked each one up by the scruff of its neck and carried it to her den and then nursed and groomed them all. So adorable
! The mom dog didn't seem to mind at all!
Anyone else see this?

They sure can't nurse, have to agree on that one. This elderly gentleman just groomed and protected the orphaned squirrel, purring, while waiting his meowmy to take care of the catering.

Can't believe they'd take care of a squirrel! My boys spend their days trying to get outside to chase them!

I had an old spayed barn cat that used to round up chicks all the time and mother them.
Drove my hens nuts.
