i was wondering if it was safe to put sunscreen on my cats noses. they are white cats and have very pink noses and im concerend about them getting burnt. if so does it need to be special sunscreen or just normal human sunscreen?

It should be 5 or under to be safe. They do make sunscreen for cats as well.

I use Nivea children's sunscreen for Persil. I put it on her ears and nose, and it makes a huge difference. She doesn't get red any more. As we have a Mediterranean climate here, and we are at a high altitude, the dangers are great. She hated me doing it at first, but now is used to it. Don't put on too much - it is better to re-apply, as I found that she would try and lick it off if I overdid it and she could feel it on her skin.
