Does anyone know if you can use baby formula for kittens?

A store gave me cans of baby formula and told me I could use it on my kittens if the mom abandoned them. If anyone knows if it will work on kittens please let me know. I won't use it unless I know it's safe.

No you really can't- only in a emegency and only if double diluted. I would either toss them or give them to day care center or food bank

Please purchase KMR for your kittens. It is made especially for kittens who are unable to nurse from their Mom cat, and is specifically formulated for their special needs. You can find it at a store such as Petsmart or your Vet's office.

Yes, KMR is best, or if you instead found Royal Canins baby kitten milk, this is nowadays quite good.

Acceptable emergency milk can be made of goatmilk and egg-yolk - but in US it is MUCH easier to get the excellent KMR or Royal Canins then goat milk!

But in some countries it is vice versa, so thank JennyR... for the advice...
