Steve is gonna laugh when he wakes up too. i cried! while i did it! I had just gotten her coat so LOVELY. *sniffles* shes peeeeeveeeeeed off too. But its not my fault she got into something. and i just COULDNT get it out...i tried..and she was mad at all the baths..and it was still there..and i didnt want to risk is being harmfull to her health..so..*sniffles* shes gonna be so mad she doent get to go to the shows either lol

She is a gorgeous cat, by the way -- beautiful colors and patterning.

i know it will grow back. my friend was like "YOU BUTCHERED YOUR SHOW CAT" i said..well i have three other ones i plan on taking..and I did what was best for Lily..hair will grow back. and maybe even fuller heheOriginally Posted by Nebula11

Spaz goes through an initial butchering every year.
She won't let a brush near her, so I cut out her larger mats before I shear her.
She looks pretty silly for a couple of days.
Luckily for me, she's an extremely forgiving cat.
Lily will look great again in no time, their hair grows so fast.

I have to gove gibby a sanitary cut every few months, partially because of mats, partially because he gets litter stuck in his butt fluff

But you definately did the right thing. Better for her to be mad than to be sick! Lily will go back to being her beautiful sweet self in no time!

She jumped up and down on me for a while this morning, LOL and shes back to being happy now.. I gabve her extra greenies I am sure that helped

A) it was late at night and I didnt have any idea what the stuff was and did not want to risk it.. B) we are pretty broke right now the the groomer would cost. but i did borrow some clippers today and got it evened out
This is why some people should not be allowed to have scissors .. poor baby Lily
