Why do I only see x's instead of pictures on some of these threads?

most likely because the code is bad or because the pictures have been removed from the link they are to....

I can't see some of the new pictures. And from the responses, other people must be able to see them.

Sometimes I have to right click my mouse and select "show Picture" from the menu that appears. This usually happens in a picture intensive post or thread. I have a very old computer that is veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slow.
