The Fall Foliage Thread

Foliage comes late to my little corner of New England, but in the last few days, we are starting to see signs. We should be at peak in 2 weeks or so. We have lots of fall berries out, and the tips of trees are starting to turn.

What does the foliage look like in your area?

Our foilage isn't really turning yet BUT....the fall berries are definitely out. I have little bird poop berry bombs all over our sidewalk and all over my car when it is parked outside of my workplace

Not much happening yet here. We will not have good fall color due to the drought this summer. Plus we have not had the fall weather for optimal color (warm days and cool nights). In fact the past three days we have had record breaking warm-no HOT weather for October in Wisconsin (mid 80's humid days and around 70 at night). BUT a cold front Finally coming in tonight. The temps are supposed to fall over 35 degrees!!
The Virginia creeper vine is scarlet and some of my crabapple trees have set the fruit too.
