I can't believe this. We are under a winter storm warning right now!!, they say that overnight and into tomorrow we are going to see rain, freezing rain and snow. Up to 15cm, it's too early!!

That is precisely why I like NC. We never get much of that stuff. I did get chance to go to Canada once though and it is beautiful there.
If you get snowed or iced in, just sit back with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee and enjoy yourself. Stay safe.

Stay safe!! It was 19degrees Farenheit in our local mountains today, and the low here is 33, but we're in the Sierra Nevada, and it's that time of year. Here, it will most likely warm up & make a beautiful Indian summer. As it is, the hard freeze opened the pinon pine cones & there's a bumper crop of pine-nuts waiting to be gathered!
It snowed a couple of weeks ago, but there's only patches on the north facing slopes over 11,000 feet now - good thing, I still have to collect my firewood!!

Oh my gosh!!! That's amazing!! Here, the weather is extraordinarily warm for this time of the year, a true Indian summer in all its glory. It was 80F today, most unusual! Stay warm and I hope you do not get too many centimetres of the white stuff!

There's snow in the high mountains, and the whole state of Colorado is under a freeze advisory tomorrow night. They are predicting a low of 28!
I love the cool fall weather!!
