Just brought a new kitty (Lucy 6 Weeks) home yesterday. My two boys (Ivan and Frisby, both a year old ) DO NOT like her! I didn't find this site ubtil AFTER I brought her home and she'd been running around in the house (we live in a mobile home). So now 24 hours after she's been here and reading everything about introductions, I put her in a pet carrier with food, water, sleeping blankies, and a small litter pan. Since we live in a small mobile home, that is the only space she can have. Ivan, the oldest by a month, isn't really aggressive toward her but if she is in the same room with him, he will hiss, growl, snort and runaway under beds etc. Frisby has followed her around a bit before I put her in the carrier and hissed occasionally, sniffed at her, batted at her. I figured one of the blankets she is sleeping on can come out in a few days for the boys to sniff. The boys don't really lay in one spot so they don't have anything to swap with. Is there anything else I should be doing? I wasn't home when Frisby came home and we lived in a different house.
