Hi everyone, We found our kitten about 3 weeks ago - he is now about 4 1/2 weeks old. He has no problem going pee or poop when stimulated but he has yet to go on his own. I am trying to teach him about the litter box. I put him in, stimulate him a little until he starts to go and then I stop in the hopes that he will continue on his own but when I stop, so does he. Is something wrong or abnormal about this or is it possible that some jus take longer than others? Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks!

Sometimes it just takes longer, especially for an orphaned kitten. He'll get the hang of it soon and then he will start going everywhere!! I'd say he should be going on his own within the next week. Good luck! I would definetely make sure a vet checks him out though so there is no underlying problems.
