I just realized.........

....I've been to this site before! I just clicked on "how to support this site" and knew I had seen the page before. Sure enough, after a few more clicks, I found what I had found before - puzzles! I have that page on my favorites, and in fact have ordered about 10 of the puzzles so far, and throughly enjoy them! It's been awhile since I've had time to do puzzles, so it's probably been six months since I ordered any. I notice there's some new ones, so it's time to whip out the old Visa again......

I have a good friend, actually my old next door neighbor, who moved up to Colleyville. That's right up there near Euless, isn't it?

I think it's so much fun when you're on a board with people from all over the world and then find one or two people who live in the same town. It makes the world seem so much smaller!

And for some reason I'm the only active member from Houston? The DFW area is fairly close so and goodmorning to my DFW neighbors!

Shiner is a beer only brewed in Texas and it is brewed in Shiner, TX. Shiner, TX is a German town (it was originally settled by Germans so it has a lot of German heritage). It is stronger than most beers and has a few variations: Shiner Bock is a dark beer, Shiner Blond, is a light beer. There might be a couple of others but these two are the only ones I'm familiar with. I believe it is also only sold in Texas.

My husband told me that Shiner was just sold to one of the big beer companies, I can't remember which one. So I bet everyone will be able to get it soon. Can't be good news for the beer though, I bet it'll go downhill. Of course, I don't like it in the first place, way to dark for my taste.
