Here's a link to some pics of Chloe's little angels, born 9/27. These were taken at 3 and 4 days old. The pictures are a little blurry, but you can still tell how cute they are! I even got a pic of our little hisser. And any predictions about what the babies might end up looking like are welcome. Their points are darkening by the day and they're pretty fuzzy... are big, squishy puffballs in my future??

Hi Andria - they are very, very sweet little guys! At this age it is difficult to really know for sure what the points will be - can you tell me a little more about them? What color is the leather on the feet? How about their ears? Is it brownish/gray?

Agree with Gaye...it's a bit difficult to tell in the pictures. Again, make sure you are cautious about saying they are a certain breed, especially when you don't know the heritage of the father. Even mixed breed cats can have pointed recessive genes (just found out about that shortly ago myself). They are all very sweet looking though. I can't remember if you had planned to have mom cat spayed. If you need a low cost clinic for when it is the appropriate time, you can use the link below to find a low cost clinic in your state:

Both light colored kitties have seemingly grey ears and tails, with dark brown noses and light pink feet pads. The cream colored guy has a darker tail and ears, which are more of a brownish grey, while the white one's points are more bluish grey. The black one is just black, with white feet, tummy, and chin, but his fur is the same coarse, poofy kind (although I've never seen newborn kittens before, maybe they all start out poofy!). I love persians and himalayans (the suspected daddy), so I'm really hoping for big balls of fluff!!

Chloe's definitely getting spayed... thanks for the links. And I'm not claiming they're a certain breed, because I really haven't got a clue (I live in an apartment complex crawling with kitties), I'm just hoping they look himalayan... a prospect I'm so excited about, I just can't wait long enough to find out

Oh...I completely understand Andria and I know you are hoping for some Himmy traits (Gaye or one of the other breeders can give you more help in that realm than I can). They truly are gorgeous little kittens. I'm glad you plan to have mom spayed after she has weaned her kittens (around 6-8 weeks). I'm the low cost clinic link provider so again...feel free to use that link if you need a clinic for when the time is right. I'm glad that everything is going ok and that mom is taking very good care of her little ones. Were you planning on keeping one?

Yep, we're keeping one, and I'm leaning toward the little boy creampuff. And we have good homes already for the other two. I want to keep them all of course, but 4 cats in a one bedroom apartment sounds like trouble! Chloe had a brother who knocked the window screen out and disappeared about 4 months ago, and we all miss him. Since then she's just been a little lonely troublemaker, and definitely needs another kittie to love. Hopefully that will cut down on the crying, broken vases, spilled water glasses, sneak attacks..... of course I may just end up with two troublemakers...
