I am so overwhelmed right now

A good friend just visited and she brought Racer a brand new bridle, and bit because his is buried somewhere in the mess and it will be weeks before I get to it. She also bought with her a brand new set of grooming brushes and hoof picks, and she rescued my saddle from the tack room, though I told her not to, because there are big bars of steel overhead that are bent almost in two and under such pressure, but she assured me she would be careful and she darted in and grabbed my saddle and pulled it out. The bridle is one she handmade for Racer as he is bigger than the average bear, and she stayed around to help out with the clean-up. I am so grateful to have her as a friend, words cannot express how I feel right now, though I thought I would try to get them out anyway.

I think at thimes like these you really find out who your friends for life are. To even just have one is a blessing. You can count yourself very very lucky.
