I have read over this forum about aggression in cats, but cannot seem to find any answers to my sisters cat.
I call her Devil cat, b.c. she is just an evil little thing. She has been to the vet, and had found that she is not sick or has any problems. Shes just a very mean cat.
She always comes in a room that you are in and just sits there in front of you and stares at you...but she squints her eyes, like shes discusted! If you even look at her, she will hiss at you. It got to the point where she would attack people! If you walked past her she would chase you and jump up onto your legs and dig her claws into you. She would chase anyone who went up the stairs at my mothers house. One time I was walking up her stairs and the cat came running after me and latched onto my legs with her claws and wouldnt let go. My legs were full of blood. My sister came running up the stiars b.c I was screaming, and the cat went and attacked her too. We were all bloody. This was before she was fixed.
So my mom took her to get spayed. And she hasnt attacked anyone as bad as she use to, but she still does it. What is wrong with this cat?? I swear shes from hell! Im afraid to even go over my mothers house and visit, b.c. of that cat! Do you think maybe she has some sort of mental problems?

It is possible she just wants to play and doesn't realize she is hurting you. Next time you go over there, make sure you are wearing long pants to protect your legs somewhat. And if she starts attacking you, HISS at her. That is cat talk for "back off, I'm unhappy with you!"

By the way, why do you think her staring at you and squinting is like she is disgusted with you? When mine do that, I think they are saying, "I love you. I need some attention. Pet me!" If she hisses at you afterward, though, obviously she isn't inviting petting. Try just talking to her softly when she stares at you.

No, she just sounds like she is feral and she is in a home where she doesn't trust anyone. Chances are she was abused while she lived on the streets as many cats are, or she was just terrorized by people. If kittens aren't handled by the time they are two weeks old, they have no idea what people are all about. I wonder how the family reacts to this when this cat is "acting out?" Do you yell, stomp your feet, hit her? What?

First of all, there is no such thing as a "devil cat". Evil intent or malice is something people brand animals with when they don't understand the animal's behavior.
The staring, the squinting is normal. Have you watched cats how they interact with things that interest them? They STARE!
You have not said anything about the cat's history but she seems to be very territorial or even fearful of people. One of my friend's cats was the same. It wasn't an attack but a stranger was trying so hard to pet her that the cat got so stressed that it ran to my friend and literally clawed away my friend's legs.
To avoid encounters with the cat, you can ask your sister to keep it in her room while your mom has visitors. Be sure it has toys, water, some food treats and the litterpan.

could also be chemical, as it is found that in cats (and humans) as well may emit chemicals that make the cat aggressive. (when cat was spayed maybe changed the chemical output a bit) My friend has an aggressive cat also, and this cat has been spoiled her whole life. The kitty will jump on the top of the door and wait for an unsupecting person to walk under and attack!! Take to the vet? Forget about it!! Clip the claws? Not if your value your life.
Genetics and Upbringing go hand and hand in the upbringing of any organism.

She never wants to play with anyone. She doesnt like me or anyone else that goes to my mothers house! If you even look at her, she jumps up and attacks you!
About the squinting....I say she looks discusted...b.c. thats the word that comes to my mind when I see her. She always looks mad! If I try to talk to her, she hisses at me and tries to swat at me! Its very scary! I have a cat of my own, and Its just odd to me the way this cat acts.

Thats exactly how this cat is. She is very spoiled by my mother and sister. And if she doesnt get her way...she gets mad! We like to call her the "Pissy Princess". But yes...she does wait for unsuspecting visitors to pop in, and she goes for her attack! I even remember her sitting inside the front screen door, and I was outside and I went up to the door and say "hello Ditty (her name)" and she launched on the screen and started hissing!!
