In the mall where we frequent there is a wonderful store, Crabtree & Evelyn. It has all kinds of scented lotions and soaps and air sprays and basically pamper stuff.
I just love that store! I really love their Aloe Vera lotion, it goes on SO smooth and soft.

So, do you have a favorite store or pamper place? What's your favorite scent for this kind of thing?

I really, really love a good rose scent. Crabtree and Evelyin used to have a good tea rose scent but they stopped making it apparently
. Rose is hard to find, so is my next favorite of lilac or a really good lavender.

They still have a rose scent, but it doesn't smell the same.

That's one of the few things I tend to buy on impulse... scented stuff. Especially body lotions. But I haven't bought any in a while now.

I like the "Nut" smell from the Body Shop (I have the nut-scented bubble bath) but unfortunately they don't make it into a body lotion. I would just LOVE to have it in a body lotion!

I mostly like nut, spice or fruit scented things. Usually body lotion or candles.

I love a lot of those smelly things....from a good perfume, to soaps, to bodyspray, room spray and scented candles....but hubby gets bad sinus probems....with headaches and stuffy nose.....so we can`t use any of it around here. (I`m just thankful he`s not allergic to cats!!!)
I do wear Red Door when I`m going to be gone away from him for the day though. Love it!

For perfume I only wear Paloma Picasso. I try not to use too many scented things in our home because the kitties don't like it.

I'd have to say The Body Shop, although I don't buy a lot of stuff from there. My favourite things from there are the Vanilla body spray and the Cranberry body butter.

Vanilla is my absolute favourite scent, anyone who knows me, knows how much I love it! Candles, body spray, soap/body wash, you name it!

I love that stuff! I never experienced it before... until someone or someones sent me a bunch a while back!

We don't have a local C & E store
There is a place in town that sells some of their stuff. I love Avocado Oil bubble bath and lotion, but it's been ages since I have had some. Mom brought me back some Taylor of London lotion from Epcot. It is a very nice lotion. The kind where you touch your skin in the morning and are surprised at how nice it feels.

I love those gift sets with the scented lotion, bubble bath, etc.

My favorite is vanilla.

I also love going in Bath & Body Works and testing everything

Most scents will give me instant headaches. But I can handle natural scents and love almond and vanilla. Once in a while I come across a cucumber/melon that is pretty good. Just call me nature girl!

I love apple. I don't know why. I used to be a Lavender person or anything with a sweet smell, but lately I've noticed that I like the apple smells or a more tart smell over the sweet ones. I have a tart electric warmer that right now has the apple tarts in it and Brad doesn't like it when I turn it on. But the cats do! (And they don't get burned whiskers or fur because it's electric and warms on a light bulb!) But I still watch them around the hot liquid and make sure it's out of their paws reach, just like a child!!!!!

I am pretty much addicted to two scents: the mild honey/beeswax-ish smell of Burt's Bees products and things that are cucumber/melon scented. I don't know why...those are pretty random, but I am. I get all of my cleaning supplies in the cucumber melon scent...it smells so great around here after I've cleaned!

Same here! I burn soy candles in the living room once in a while because it's big so the scent ends up being really light. I burn them when I take a bath and he comes in there, but he chooses to so it must not bother him too much.

My favorite lotion & potion store is Sephora, and my favorite scents are anything clean, light, and airy. I don't wear perfume because Cupid doesn't like scents, but he can handle body wash/lotion/shampoo scents. I just try not to wear anything too strong that will cover up my scent.

I love lavander, espcially Yardley Lavander. - and while I like most lavander's, Yardley's is a light not strong scent - in body splash, soap, lotion; it's kind of soothing. Of course I work in a scent free area so never "wear" it to work but it feels good at the end of a long day!!

I also like The Healing Garden lavander scent though it is somewhat stronger. When I was young, Love made this product (and I suspect all Love products are for "young" people, lol) - a body mist that was called "Jasmine and lavander". I have never seen it since - but it was light as well. I really dislike strong scents, especially if one is on an elevator or a confined space. I do not understand ppl who overdo it in the scent area - esp when they realize how they can affect others. Mind you, I feel the same about people who smoke. I especially raise my hacles about women who are pregnant and smoke. Our hospital has one section for ob-gyn and the other for peds and before we instituted a complete no smoking ban on the premises, some women would smoke right outside the building. It took every gram of self cxontrol I had not to go over to a woman sitting there with an IV, pregnant and smoking!! Aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! It tells me they do not care about their unborn child!!! Now, there is no smoking anywhere on our property, even outside and they are less inclined to go to the sidewalk which is owned by the city. But some still do. I realize it is an addiction but like responsible adults, they need to address it BEFORE getting pregnant.

Sorry to go off topic but smoke does provide a scent. <g>

I have mixed feelings about scented things. Some of them are exquisite, some are totally appalling! And it's all a matter of taste. So I never buy scented stuff for a gift, unless I know the person's preferences -- just too risky, otherwise.

Under the cats, mostly.
I'm with you RoseHawke - it's so hard to find a very very good rose scent - it's my favourite - there's absolutely nothing on this earth that compares to the real thing! I love the great big old fashioned damasque (sp) roses that smell like Heaven.....

I*m fond of citrus smells too, orange, lemon, lime... but only the roses drives me totally wild.

I love Bath and Body Works. My two favorite scents from there are Cucumber Melon and White tea and ginger. I recently went into the Body Shop for the first time and bought a light perfume called Moonflower that I really like.
