I have caught my 8 month old kitten, Cosmo, eating our dog's dry dog food. On the occasions I caught him doing this I picked him up and placed him in front of his food bowl. The animals do not eat at any set time I just leave their food bowls filled. I have also caught the dog eating the cats food on more than one occasion. Will a cat eating dog food cause any health problems and should I be concerned?

The cat needs different nutrition than a dog, but if the cat is just nibbling on the dog food, it will be all right. Just try to be sure the cat also gets good dry cat food as well.
eat dog food too. I think because he was a PIG. :tounge2: That cat would eat anything! Still miss him
