Prego and Polly (especially Polly) really love Whiskas catmilk. I consider it a treat, but it is starting to become an everyday thing. It's so hard to resist Polly's tiny meow. We only give them 4 or 5 tablespoons in a saucer to share. Is it ok for them to have it every day, or should I restrict them?

I give my insiders (4) milk maybe once a month, but my ferals (8) get a bowl of milk or canned milk every day. It is almost like a good night cap.

It probably depends on their weights, because it does mean extra calories. Also, are you going to be able to stop giving it to them on a daily basis? Jamie insists on having his cat milk every day, and will simply yowl till he gets it.

Prego has chubby tendencies, but I keep an eye on his weight. Polly doesn't have any weight problems.

If it is bad for their health, I can resist her little meows and her big green eyes. I resist them when she wants to go outside.
But you can see in my sig it is hard to resist. I love her though and I want what's best for her.

Is it ok to give my cat a bit of 2% milk every couple days?? He loves it and everytime I make coffee he's up on the counter looking cute as ever...hard to resist. Should I switch to whiskas cat milk?

id keep regular milk away from your kit...cats for the most part are lactose intollerent....

cats can get diarreah and abdominal pain

He doesn't seem to get diarrhea or abdominal cramping...but hard to tell in a kitty. I think that I should switch him to cat milk!! He probably won't even know the difference!!

I like the CatSip better than the Whiskas Cat Milk, based on the ingredients. Of course, they don't list any ingredients on the websites for either product! The Whiskas has more ingredients in it, though. And the CatSip comes in a larger volume (in the exact same size package as Cat Milk) and costs less. I haven't used it in years, but if I were going to buy some, it would be the CatSip.
