How do you keep these little rascals out of the house plants? I dont have a green house or anything, but the one or two plants i do have i want to keep and there is no such thing as out of reach. ive made sure there not toxic to the cats but what can i do.

I had a semi-feral foster named Jill, who kept my spider plants chewed to about 2-3 inches long. They even had baby spider plants, which she chewed. It used to infuriate me, because the plant looked so raggedy!

Now Jill is gone, and one spider plant is dead, and the other is mostly forgotten. Without Jill reminding me to fuss, I forget to water them. I'm sure the second one will be dead soon, too. Now I wish I had kept Jill! (Her adoptive parents accidentally let her escape, and now she is out in the cruel world!)

Either get a plant for kitty to chew, like a spider plant or a pot of grass. Or just get rid of the plant!
