Having seen the snow pics of yours this morning it made me wonder about flying conditions up there. So here are some questions abot that.

Do you mount skis on your plane for winter ?

Do you have to do much IFR?

Does the Cessna 401 i think you said you fly have deicing capability?

Does flying in the winter bother you much..

And last would you tell everyone the avaitors 1st commandment?
I know it but they might like to hear it.
And tell your fans here the difference between a good landing and a great landing...
Ur Friend Howard

Ever fly passengers as part of your job?
Any desire to fly for one of the large commercial airlines?
How much training would that entail?
Describe your scariest flight
What room of your house needs the most decorating help right now?
What's your dream home?
Dream wedding dress?
Do you still have a lot of snow, or did it melt?

Do you mount skis on your plane for winter ?Nope, just keep the tires on

Do you have to do much IFR?Our operations are all single pilot IFR, if the weather is good though we will file VFR (gives us more fuel options)

Does the Cessna 401 i think you said you fly have deicing capability? My airplane is a 402C it has heated stall and static vents, pitot tubes, de-ice rubber boots for the wings, heated prop anti ice and electric windshield heat

Does flying in the winter bother you much..It can get kinda scary. Ice can build very quickly..sometimes so quickly that our deice can't keep up with it. Also the cold temps up here mean that we have to plug in the engines. Runway concitions can get very slippery too

And last would you tell everyone the avaitors 1st commandment?
I know it but they might like to hear it. I know a few commandments that I've heard. The one we use here is "keep the shiny side up"

And tell your fans here the difference between a good landing and a great landing... For me a good landing is whenever you land safely, a great landing is when the passengers didn't even notice you landed!
Ur Friend Howard
Thanks Howard those are great questions!!, I take it you are a pilot as well??

Not since I was about 20 or so. I was an AF brat and got my single engine rating before I was 17 but never kept it up. I wasnt going to try to make a living at it and it was just to expensive to keep up any decent amount of hours.
I like your descriptions and commandmant but mine went
1st commandment: "Maintain thine airspeed lest the ground reach up and smite thee."
"A good landing is 1 you walk away from."
"A great landing is where you can use the airplane again..."

and cargo

Any desire to fly for one of the large commercial airlines?I'd love to fly for Westjet or Air Canada and do runs within North America
How much training would that entail? Nothing extra that I can do on my own but the company that hired me would have me go through 1 or 2 months of their own internal training
Describe your scariest flight
What room of your house needs the most decorating help right now? There have been a couple scary times but the worse was when I was flying between Port Huron Michigan and Springfield Illinois and the weather turned alot worse than forecast, it was really tense for about 2 hours
What's your dream home?a big house with a fireplace and wood floors, with lots of animals (cats, dogs, horses everything!)
Dream wedding dress? It would be white, strapless, A line with a silky finish with beads or some sparkle
Do you still have a lot of snow, or did it melt?
Most of our snow has melted....for now..
Have a great day!!

I like that one!

It's also never good when your landing is so hard that your passengers ask "Did we land or were we shot down?"

Oh that would be great!!

Well I'd love to make a Italian pasta dish with breadsticks and salad, the house would be very clean (I clean everyother day) and Reilly would probably be sitting on the living room "big chair" watching everyone. I'm sure he would come up and say hello to you too..he can always pick the cat lovers out of a crowd!
