Siberian hybrids? Some replies please?

Have any of you heard of Siberian Cats being combined to other breeds in order to recreate the hypoallergenicity? And are there ever siberian polydactyls born? I haven't seen any mentioned, but i'm a fan of siberians and polys, so...

Oh and i am new to this site. I have, however, read quite a bit about cat behavior, so...
And last time i posted i only got one reply! Aren't there any siberian breeders on this site? Thanks.

I am not a breeder but there was just an article in my local paper about making cats hypoallergenic, a new hypoallergenic breed i guess and they are going for $5,000 each! supposedly there is a waitlist a mile long for these kittens and they aren't even born yet.

Hi Joe ... it is the weekend and a lot of our breeder/members might be out at shows and the like. Give it some time and if anyone feels qualified to respond to your questions, I feel certain they will. If you are in a hurry, I suggest doing a Google on Siberian breeders and emailing them to see if they can help you in your quest for information.

There are no proof of the Siberian being hypoallergenic, only speculations and not all allergics tolerate them. Therefor I find it highly unlikely that anyones tried to use Siberians in order to create another hypoallergenic type of cat.
