Maya has developed some brown spots on her skin infront of her ears, you can see the spots because her hair is thinner there.(i don't remember if it was always thinner there than the rest of her face or not, but I think the patch of thin hair might be getting bigger). She doesn't have any brown spots in the ear...but they seem to be awfully close to it though. She has this infront of both ears. She doesn't scratch it, I touched them and and there is no scabby feeling or anything like that, and she is not bothered when I touch those areas either.
What could this be? I don't remember her having any brown spots on her skin...
I will call my vet on monday, but if it could be something reallly serious I will take her down to the animal clinic.
Thanks

They could be anything and your idea of a visit to the vet is a good one. It doesn't sound urgent though and she should be Ok to wait until tomorrow.

My cat used to have freckles in that area...but I guess if they have just developed then you should check with your vet.

Just came back from the vet, and they are just pigment. They said as some cats get older they can get darker and what not..so it is basically just freckles.
So everything is normal..couldn't wait until tomorrow
