Pat, that is truly wonderful. I'm so happy that you are excited and happy to share this! I hope it's sunny and beautiful next weekend, but even if it's not, you both will share a wonderful day!

Congratulations on this milestone in your relationship.

Also...a big bravo to you, for losing those unwanted lbs.
That is something to celebrate too.

Well we didn't make it to our Saturday( our anniversary is on Saturday this year), as my dh put it, after 9 pm here was after midnight back east where we were married...so he told me how the past 10 years had been for him, said he would marry me all over again, and presented me with a lovely 3 stone diamond ring

It has incredible sparkle, fits like a dream, it's set in an unusual way that allows light in to the side of each stone. It's just gorgeous.

I bought him a Tommy Bahama Silver Navigator watch - and it looks wonderful on him. He's not a ring wearer, except for our wedding band, and I wanted something special for him to wear as a token of my love on this 10th anniversary.

ps...the cake tastes awesome (yes, we got into that tonight too!). We took a photo of the cake which I will post later this weekend.

What a wonderful anniversary

Well...I was thinking that posting a photo of it on a public board was probably not the best thing to do
So...I can describe it? Brilliant cut round diamonds, yellow gold setting, over a carat total weight, clarity is what I like which is near colorless...it's just gorgeous, and it's not leaving my finger...okay, maybe during gardening since I don't always wear gloves

I wouldn' t be surprised
and heck, I'll only be 65 for that one, so I'll still be with it. Now...for our 50th, I hopefully will be pretty with it and spry..oh treadmill! Vitamin e capsules, and fish oil capsules anyone?

Good thing I married a younger man

awwwwwww!!! You sound like such an ADORABLE couple! Happy anniversary! I wish you many, many more to come!!!

Oh by the way, you don't have to send all the extra cake to work with DH, you can just send the leftover to my house.

Belated congratulations to you
I decided I want to begin something, I'm not going to tell dh about this. But every year, starting this year, I am going to write him a letter on our anniversary, for him to open and have after I'm gone. I know that sounds morbid, but I think of it as another gift, that will capture this point in our lives, and let me speak to him later on.

Hope that doesn't creep you all out, but it feels right.

Tee Hee...I'm not sure how much of this will make it to work...ahem...I seem to be handling the one thin slice just fine, and oh my, it is soooo good.

You have to understand, I eat few carbs, and when I do, I really, really enjoy them!

If you lived in this area I'd be heartily recommending this bakery to you, they are just awesome! I'll get that photo up by tomorrow. I need to finish my coffee and get off the 'puter so we can go celebrate the rest of the day.
