Hopefully this is an okay place to post this. I was looking up information on food. And I found this site. It tells you about the different ingredients in food, how it is made and what not. For those of you new to picking out the "good food" from the "bad food" this is really a helpful website. It also reccomends books to buy if you want to make a homemade diet, as well as some starter recipes. I just thought this might help with many of the "which foods are good" questions. Although this site is definitley sided with raw diets, it gives you kind of an idea of what to look for when buying a cereal brand.

What's really in pet food.

That's an awesome website
I often reference it when I'm helping people learn more about pet food!

There are a few other threads around that you might find usefull, polls on what people feed and such.

For now I'll tell you that mine get a diet of all wet food, primarily Wellness but sometimes I'll switch in other top quality brands for variety (like Innova, Merrick or Felidae). I'm trying to work in raw, but that's a slow process and I'm not counting that yet. For now they get raw bits as treats, with the occasional wing or neck for their teeth. My cats are very fussy and it's hard to get them adjusted to new foods (but aren't they all like that?

I just thought I would post it since I have been trying to learn about better foods for my kitty. And I've seen alot of questions from people on "what to look for" and the site really explains why people hate the products they hate, and why companies use them. IE: Corn is cheap. Let's use it! When it's practically just a filler. So I thought it might help some people out when look at what food to buy.
