That green glow is a cat secret that humans were never supposed to find out about. That light is always being emitted from cats eyes but it is at a wavelength that we can only see when captured on film or digital photos.
When subjected to this light in sufficient quantities, it affects the human brain in such a manner as to make said human feel compelled to feed the cat.

You will notice that different cats emit different colors of light. Scientists don't understand the color changes quite yet, but speculation has it that the colors represent the type of food the cats are commanding the humans to feed them.

I wasn't supposed to tell you guys this stuff, if the cats find out they will probably come for me tonight and you all will never see me here again.

So far out in left field I got lost
Pssssssst, Pssssssst, Hey Bridget, I hate to tell you this but....I think your cat is possessed

Still a handsome baby anyway. As long as he doesn't spin his head around and hurl up green pea looking soup your possessed kitty should be fine

I'm still chuckling over this. I can't imagine how hard you must have laughed when you went to look and see what "phenomenon" you captured on film.
