I believe those brackets are nothing more than handrail brackets. Look like it'd be pretty simple to do, actually!

They are clearly handrail brackets. I already have shelves on the wall that they climb up to from scratch posts - just need the angled ramp to get them there more easily!
I will need to have a serious beg session with hubby about this.....he gets squeamish when we have to drill thru the walls (100 year old house with interesting plaster content in walls).
I think those Katwallks are so neat!
I would love to have some throughout my place. My clan would love them!!
