I miss him *sniffle*

Steve is out of town for three days. Helping do a story opening in KS, MO for Guitar center. (anyone down there go say HI!) he left yesterday at 4am. And i am so depressed about it I hate when he goes. I know hes going to be back in a few days but its rough. I have seperation anxiety from him, the biggest reason i think is because of course for the major portion of our first year together he was on the road and i was home here alone. He called everynight and every day and of course when they were in town or had time off he was home. But it was hard. Him coming off the road to play with Converwatts the local band was the best thing ever! But now of course its made me get all ansy when hes not home. And I get jumpy at every little sound outside too..thank goodness for the dogs they help. Of course..Athena..is depressed too. She like me hates when daddy goes out of town, he was still on the road when I got her for him. So she also remembers daddy coming and going. Yesterday morning after he left she sat in her kennel and cried for two hours. I finally had her up on the bed, she snuggled up into his pillows and went to sleep.

I on the otherhand havent slept. Which is another bad side affect of when he is gone. as much as i HATE how much he snores..lol and it keeps me up sometimes, when my chronic insominia isnt..truth be told I cant sleep very well without him there. I know I sound so whinny right now. But I havent slept and I miss him.

And of course I talked to him this morning, for a bit. After finding that Athena had chewed up my BRAND NEW CELL PHONE..ARGH! How she got to it i have NO IDEA..but she did. hes getting sick now Poor baby.

ok ok..enough of my pitty party..

It'll be okay, he'll be back before you know it!

Didn't Athena just chew up ANOTHER cell-phone a couple of weeks back??? What is it, is she missing some "cell-phone" vitamin in her diet ?

Yup she did she actually chewed up TWO mine and dads. and somehow she got the new one of mine out of my dresser..i think she had some small paw help

Hmmm. The only thing I can think is that since you use a cell next to your face they're picking up the oils and scent off your skin and it's making them very attractive to her. You're either going to have to be a bit more diligent about your cells or you could try wiping them down occasionally with a cloth that has lysol or some perfumy stuff on it. Heh. Unless you like replacing cells every month !

LOL no i dont. I am going to be putting them in a locked cupboard now. cause i had this one in my dresser..big chest one. with the drawer almost all the way closed. I know she could not reach the drawer. I assume one of the cats dished it out to her lol

Aw... Its hard to miss your SO. Maybe it will help if you plan something special for when he returns. That way you can put your time and energy into it rather than being depressed.

I thought about that but I also know hes going to be wipped out. I was thinking about searchinh for some bargain sheets or something..some really comfy ones for him

to go along with the new sheets, how about some fragrant massage oil, candlelight, and a bottle of wine? You'll either relax him to sleep or...

To make you feel better - I have not seen my other half in 4 months - he is in China on business - we hope for him to come back in the next 2 weeks or so but no one knows for sure!! Talk about lonely!!! Feel better now?

TEHEHEHE would be nice. we dont drink so no wine but candles, and such would be nice now if only i can find nice affordable sheets! lol I am such a cheapy.

Awwww no i dont feel better but I do feel bad for whinning. *hugs* I remember the days of being alone for long times though. *HUGS* hope he gets home soon
