I am seriously thinking that ours needs to be turned on too, its like.. below freezing at night now, I swear, it has got to be.
I'll get used to it eventually, and take on the -38 degrees Celsious that we normally have. Blech.

My heating was on last night too, although they refuse to turn it on in the office til it gets to sub zero temperatures (at least it feels that way!).

Its still nice here, we keep our window's open yet, no heat yet....still supposed to get into the 80's next week (icky!) I can't wait for it to start cooling down more, I'm more so excited that I haven't turned my AC on for a week, hurray for lower bills this month!!

It got down to 42 here last night and the house was freezing this morning, but as long as it warms up into the 70's and 80's as it's supposed to for the next week, I can't justify turning the heat on yet.

Well, this morning for the first time in a looooong time, the thermostat showed that the temp was actually below (by 1 degree
) what we set it at last night. We set the 'stat at 68 or 70 during the night, depending on how hot the days have been, and it actually got down to 67 last night! Cool! Literally
! Maybe I can look forward to a slightly lower electric bill this month.

Oh my Erin! I'm still more or less having my windows still open thoughout the day. It hasn't gotten below 71 in here. It's now 75 with the windows open...not sure how Summer feels...she's been under blankets a few times this week, then at other times she's all spread out on her back on the floor.

This is confusing weather!

By the way, I got a teaching job in Brookfield and start on Monday!

oy! no no no, do not want to turn the heat on yet! i have a gas stove with a heater on the side, so we end up with one really warm room (the kitchen) and all the rest barely have the chill taken off
but lately i've been having night sweats and hot flashes, so i would be fine without the heat

my old girl who is 18, now *she* will need to have the heat on......

We had to fire up our pellet stoves last week. It's fairly cool now and raining. Our stupid rivers are even flooding. I miss summer already.
