My mom and dad evacuated from Louisiana and now I have 2 new pets!!!

Here is my mom and dads 2 pound Chihuaua.Of course after her royal bath and just to tell ya'll she is 8 years old in human years!! Her name is Gypsey.






And their 90 something pound Pitt Bull named Zu-Zu.






What a match huh??? LOL My mom and dad still are not allowed back into Lake Charles so they know nothing about their house. They will be with us for a while. Good for us!

Yeapers. I now have me, hubby, 2 kids, 1 brother in law, my mom, my dad, 2 dogs, and 3 cats!!!

Garfield is VERY jealous!!!

Lilo seems to be okay with them. Personally I think that she thinks Im nuts!! She is a very opinionated cat!!

And Petals thinks they are GREAT!!! 2 new somethings for her!!! LOL
Although Zu-Zu (the Pitt Bull) has been raised VERY gentle, I do not even allow my kids to get close to him. And little Miss Petals wants to go outside to play with him!!! Can you believe that??? I tell her "NO" just play with Gypsey!!

Oh, my! You have your hands full. I am glad everyone made it out OK, but I sure wish them well with their house and future.

I'm not too far from Lake Charles and I recall seeing on the news last night that they were going to let people back in for a "look and leave" period. There will be a curfew as well...they say they can not allow anyone to stay.

Maybe try the local news websites, they have more news than the bigger guys like cnn and fox. I believe I saw it on klfy or katc. I hope they haven't lost much and I'll keep them in my thoughts.
