Maybe some of you remember me telling this story.....

Maybe some remember me telling this story in May about the police officer that threw kittens from a moving vehicle. Here is the link to help your memory some....

http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51591

Well the man was found NOT GUILTY A Sandusky couple claim that they SAW him commit the crime and he was still AQUITED! AND to make matters worse, he's on trial again in ANOTHER city!!! Here's the broadcast on my news last night....

What are your opinions on this? It makes me VERY VERY angry and I am so sad for those poor kittens. Animals deserve justice and that poor kitten has to deal with that the rest of it's life

I would comment but I cant even bring myself to click on the link to read more about it.

The guy is a sicko from what I did see.

Everyone who has read this thread or this thread or this website knows my opinion on the extreme lack of justice for animals in the US. I think it should be a federal offense with a mandatory prison sentence.

What always astounds me about these type of things, is why didn't he take them to a shelter? There is NO NEED to hurt the kittens, when he could just put them in a box and leave them on the doorstep of a shelter. Or even leave them at a church, a school, a neighbours doorstep etc etc Why throw a living creature from a car??

People like this man need to be put away for a long time, their sense of morality is obviously seriously skewed (course if I had my way, he'd be thrown from a moving car onto a busy interstate).

i wonder why they acquitted him? did they not believe the witnesses, or was it something else? you got to think he probably did do it, since he's facing new charges of the same action... i would've liked to have been able to ask the jury/judge why he was acquitted...

I was wondering the same thing. It makes me SICK! I don't get it. There were eyewitnesses! How could anyone even think of hurting such a sweet precious kitten? I really don't get it.

If he's been caught twice I also wonder how many other kittens he has hurt. He better get convicted this time! Even if he does, his sentence won't be harsh enough. We need to work on that. www.animal-justice.org

The only explanation as to why he didn't take the kittens to a shelter is that he is a sadistic monster that deserves to be thrown from a car going 100 mph on the interstate.

My heart almost broke when I seen that beautiful little face...to think this so called "man" threw an innocent little kitten out of a moving car You are all so right...HE needs to be thrown from a moving vehicle and see how much he likes it! I still can't believe that he actually got acquitted! What is wrong with that jury!?! Was it because he was a police officer?? He sure doesn't make much of one to me!!!!

Pardon me for being dim, I couldn't get the link properly so didn't find out - what happened to the kitten? Did it live? Was it badly hurt?

I'd like to see this person punished by having the same thing done to him - an eye for an eye and all that.... I bet you could sell tickets for people to come and watch, and raise some money for the shelters too.

I just watched both broadcasts the original and new one, this makes me sick! What kind of a sicko do you have to be to do something like that? Poor kittens...this is sickening. I would not only punish this person, first throw him out of a moving car, Stretch one of his arms or something that would give him nerve damage, then put him in jail and never ever let him be a police officer again in his life! The people who are able to do something like this with animals, are able to do something similar to humans in my opinion. Sad...so sad...
