My cat is 2 years old. She loves my hair. She goes to sleep in my hair and on it. She will let me know when she wants to be close to my hair. People will come over and laugh about it. They say that is funny. When I go to bed she comes in there also cause she knows I will be laying down where she can get to it. We call that love time. She doesnt care for anybody elses hair just mine. If someone could tell me why is my hair that important to her that would be great. Thanks

Harley does the same thing with mine too, when I'm holding him, he'll try and play with my hair, I think he thinks its a toy sometimes! When my hair is wet, he goes nuts trying to lick the water off it, he's a crazy kitten sometimes

So funny, our little kitties. Henry loves to lick my face, but I don't think he could care about my hair (it's pretty short, tho). He likes his dad (my husband)'s beard, though. If my husband would let him, I think Henry would sit and chew on it. LOL!

We did have a (young) cat that used to try to nurse on people's heads. He grew out of that eventually., thank goodness. It's so funny what our babies will fixate upon, huh?

Every night my cat trys to groom my hair while he is grooming himself. Usually I have to stop him though because he also bites and tugs at my hair which hurts, I think he is looking for fleas

Perhaps you use some product in your hair that smells especially nice or comforting. Willow eats my hair as a signal that she wants something, usually to come under the covers or for me to get up and feed her. She actually woke me up in time for work once, when I overslept, by chewing on my hair.

My kitten loves to bat at hair, but I think with him, it's not a fixation, just that it looks so much like a nice toy

My friends who have long hair are in for quite a fair amount of pain (he bites and pulls at it) when they come over to see my kitties hehe... I haven't figured out how to make him stop tormenting hair aside from carrying him off their heads and distracting him with some toys

Mooch loves my hair. She sticks her face in and then licks, bites, etc. Sometimes it hurts so I try not to let her bite. But she does snuggle into it. I think it's just warm and it has my scent.

Pixel only likes my hair when its wet right after i've washed it. she tries to groom me!
i figure it's because it doesn't smell like me anymore.

I find that most animals love hair...My rats loves to cuddle up in it and my kitty chews on it and bats it around.

Must be a smell thing??
