Some of the people I know that are owned by multiple cats have that one cat that is the house "snitch". You know the types - they go into the litter box and cover up anything left in the open by others. If there is a hairball you missed, they find it and tell you where it is by scratching over and over again until you come and take it away.

My house snitch is Scarlett, the princess and highly fastidious. Can't stand any waste products out in the open.

Do you have a house snitch and what do they do to "tell" on their friends?

When I lived with my ex, his cat squealed on my (RB) cat, BC once, funniest thing ever.

I had a completely enclosed front porch which the kitties and birds loved.

BC had apparently found a hole in the screen door about big enough to push a pencil through.
He stuck his nose to it and started pushing.
My ex's cat camed running in and whining at us, and running to the porch.
We followed her and managed to catch BC just as he was pulling his back legs through.

The best part was about an hour later.
My ex's cat was on the coffee table, just sitting there, minding her own business.
BC jumped up, and shoved her off the table, then peered over the edge at her like "Why the heck did you fall off the table?".
He got even

that is classic!!

Joey is my snitch. If someone "misses" the box, he sniffs the offensive item, seeks out the offender & hisses & slaps them. He's also the self-appointed cop around here - if I'm telling another cat "no", he goes up to them & slaps them.

I thought I had better mention that if I am grooming one of my cats, my other cat Elmo HAS to be there and if they dare growl or cry he thinks they are hurting me and he will swat at them, and if they don't shut up he gets quite angry!

That's adorable!

When my two had diarrhea due to worms, Alfie would let me know if any got on the carpet by running over to it, chirping, and trying to bury it. Bless him, saved me stepping in it!
