Kitty Jail Break!!

Okay, so my girls are escape artists. As I'm standing in the kitchen doing dishes, Brent comes running in and says Lucy just went out the window! So, of course, we both run outside just in time to see Lucy look at us like "hey, I'm just following along" and Annabelle's tail round the corner of the house. Daisy was slightly ahead of Annabelle even though we think Belle was the ring leader of the operation. To make a long story short (too late) the girls are safe and sound, back in their cell.

So my questions is...Is there anything we can put on the outside of the windows to keep the cats from pushing out the screen again and attempting another escape? We thought about all weather tape. Any other ideas?

Try parking a Sherman tank nice and snug outside the window. Your kitties will never be able to move it! Just kidding Laura! You'll get much more helpful answers in the behavior section, so I moved it there for you.

I believe it was Hissy who responded on another thread to the same question. She said to get some lattice and cut to fit the window. I don't remember if there were any more details, but someone else will remember, I'm sure.

I just want to make sure that we can still get out that window if there is an emergency. That's why I thought of the tape. The cats can't push the screen out but we can still kick it out if we have to.
