Hi All...

I have a cat that has always had a bump on his nose, even when he was little. Nowadays, it's been bleeding at times and seems to be getting bigger...

Can anyone tell me what this might be?

Thanks!

Michael

Thanks for letting me know I need to get my cat to the vet asap...

But does anyone have any idea as to what it might be?

Thanks!

Michael

any moles or growths on ANY animal should be monitired for changes. they could become cancerous lesions if not checked. your guess is as good as ours on this, but it could be some type of kittycancer

Just a quick question out of curiosity - what would you do if it were your nose? Would you go to a doctor or just ask some folks what they "think" it might be?

I didn't mean that to be a sarcastic comment - I just think it's really plain old common sense.

If my child or my pet were hurting/bleeding/sick, the FIRST thing I would do is take them to a doctor.

Aww...great! Thanks for all of that much needed sarcasm! See, I'm at work now, and the plan is to take the cat to the vet when I get home....So, the whole reason for my doing this was to just get an idea of what it is for myself, so that I didn't wonder about it...Maybe someone knew someone who had a cat with something like this..

But you guys are right...That was a much better way to go with it...Thanks!

Michael, sorry if you feel we've jumped on you. I'm glad you are taking your kitty to the vet after work to get it looked after.

We are sometimes a bit "over zealous" when it comes to love and care for our cats as I'm sure you are too or you wouldn't be looking for help.

Please let us know how you make out with the vet.

Again, please don't be upset with us - we are ferocious when it comes to our fur babies.
