Good Morning

Good Morning, all you wonderful cat lovers!

I bet I get a better response than I did here at work today. I don't even mind if they say mornin'. The "hey" is better than nothing. What gets me is the blank stare and the grunt. I want to yell - HEY! I HAVEN'T HAD MY COFFEE YET EITHER! But, I just go ahead and make a pot and hope the day gets better.

How do your fellow co-workers greet you?

Morning!!!!, or afternoon as it is here in the UK right now.

Yes we have our share of grumpy bums at work as well. Normally the sales team knock and wave on my window as they go upstairs, the works office next to me always say good morning, but our office manager who the Director is ready to have words with because she's so miserable and moody just ignores everyone so no one bothers to speak to her in the mornings now.

It's not hard to say a couple of words is it?!

I didn't think a couple of words were too hard either, but it must be for some. Thanks to you and TCS, I didn't let them ruin my morning!

I don`t work ....(well, at least the the kind I get paid for anyhow!)
Hubby is not a "morning person " either...liks some of your co-workers....but I am ...and so are my cats...so we greet each other first thing in the mornings.
They say "Hey Good morning " to you too!

Not a morning person, but I'm also not a rude grunter when greeted.
I work at home, so my furkids are my coworkers, what better way to start positive?

I'm not really a morning person either, but that's no excuse for rudeness. What possible hardship is it to say Good Morning to people? Doesn't take two seconds, and makes everyones day that bit brighter

Well, Good Morning to you and your kitties! My BF isn't too bad in the morning. The cats are sweet and cuddly, sooooooo, I'm blessed at home. I guess thats better than the other way around!

Right, I thought the grunting thing was rude too. Once I didn't say good morning to anyone, thinking that SOMEONE - at least one of THEM would say it first (or maybe hello, even), but nothing, nada, zip. They didn't even notice. Anyway, w'ell start off posative without them. HA! Good Morning!

I am quite the morning person, so i'm generally annoyingly chipper!

I work from home too, so Tibby and Molly are my co-workers! Tibby can be a little grumpy in the morning, but he generally says 'hi' before that mood hits him!

I'm not usually a morning person--especially on days like today when its rainy outside! But when I get to work, there are usually about 15 guys standing around my desk doing their daily payroll stuff for me and they are all such morning people, always chipper-so that usually starts my day off pretty good when you have happy people around you!
Plus, when I wake up in the morning, Harley is always greeting me with his kisses, how can you not be happy when you get a wake up call like that?

Sometimes I get the same Good mornings or just a the regular ignoring routine with most of the agents here

I'm so not a morning person, so I'm usually the one unable to form thoughts into words at that time of day!

Without fail, though, if I have contact with someone, I smile my most cheerful smile and say good morning! That is only polite, and can change the entire course of your day as well as the person with whom you share the greeting.

Good Morning, Rigel!!! Good day by now!

In the morning I'll always say good morning to everyone...most of the time I get a "Hi" or "hey" back some people just aren't into mornings
