soooooo.....

All i want is to take pics of the newest member of our family...poppy

All I want to do is get a new siggy.....

this shouldnt be this hard.......

Somehow in the move....even though i specifically remember packing all the components of my digital camera together....the cable that makes it so i can out the pics on the computer is MISSING!!!!!!!!!!

So untill we found a replacement cord..I bought a disposible camera...I got the pics developed...knowing there were some great shots of Poppy on thier...plus some gems of the other cats........
only 4 pics came out.......What is that????

So john knowing my frustration trys to find the replacement cord..........
guess what?????.....the cord was a one time custom cord that exsists no where else....and not only that but the cord has been diconnected......

the company says if we send them a check for 30$ (what??)...plus a self addressed envelope...they will send us a cord in 3-6.....MONTHS!!!!!!

Can you see how frustrating this is...I just want pix of my cats......

Ive torn the house apart looking for the cord...to nooo avail....poor john has looked everwhere.......but in the end the camera is useless, and i still dont have any pics of my Poppy........

I know this is petty to complain about "Get some real problems" I can hear ya say.....id say it too......but I am just so darn frustrated......blah

oh well what can ya do????

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Here, Bridget, please use ours!

To share a story so you know you're not the only one who loses items such as this...a couple of weeks ago, I lost my usb cable when I was going to download some pics. Well, after searching high and low, I found the cable, and what else, I lost my camera, of course!
Ended up finding it behind the night stand. Hmmm, wonder what little tortie girl may have decided it needed to be there?!

We sure are looking forward to seeing Poppy!

What kind of memory does your camera use? You can certainly get a card reader for around the same price (or less even.) Problem solved and you won't need to find the cord. I have an external 9in1 card reader which just plugged into a USB port, and I find now there's also an internal one you can get (which I wish I'd known about, I'd of gotten that one, although the husband figure has to install hardware like that as I've never been inside the computer. That's his job
. The internal drive would free up a few square inches of desk space.)

Bridget, is there a little card in the camera? you can buy a multi card reader for cheap, and all you do is pop the card out and put it in the reader... does that help? What type of camera is it?

someplace, i think either walgreen's or walmart, advertises that their photo center has card readers for all kinds of cameras. that might work...

the card reader is so much more awesome then the cord hookup, and it's way faster too. Get one if you can, seriously.

try radio shack, best buy, circuit city or wal-mart if you have any of those close by. I lost the cable to mine too and ended up having to go to radio shack to get a new one

The other problem i my camera is older then dirt....so nooo memeory card...and the cord is custom and discontinued.....but johnny said tonight that hes getting me a better digital anyway......I
him

He bought me the first camera like a couple of years ago...real cheep....he didnt have a pot to pee in back then.....but he still found me a digital camera.....

Now he says that losing the cord is a message to upgrade it...i was like "no we can find the cord"....and hes all like "No bridget, you worked your butt off, working 70 hour weeks so we could live while I was in college, and now its your tuen to go to college, and i am making way more then you were, the least i can give you is a new digital camera".....OMG...i so melted........awwwwwwwww

sure I dont gotta ring yet.....but a camera will do...for now
