I haven't seen one of these in awhile...what are ya'll up to today?

I've just been here at work, got all my stuff done this morning, so I've been doing homework and have had time to be on here a lot!
The rest of the city is slowly, but surely getting back to normal as well!

Zack has to work late again tonight, so I guess I'll have all the time in the world to study and spend some time with my two furry ones!

Nothing much of anything, really. Sunny had the last few days off, to get a couple of chores that had been "hanging fire" (as my dad used to say) done. One of these was cutting the field (about an acre of grass) with the brush mower since we'd let it get too high for me to cut it with the riding mower (conserving gas a bit.) He hauls the thing around the corners rather than backing and filling a bit, and it is NOT light, so needless to say his back has been suffering the last couple of days. He was supposed to go back to work today, but decided to take a sick day. It was just as well, I suspect he would've been coming home halfway through the day if he'd tried to go in. Took a short trip down to the used book store and picked up a couple of novels he'd been looking for, and to Books-A-Million where I lucked up and found the newest Pratchett novel had been released which I picked up. So we've been chillin' and reading most of the day (mostly to keep him off his feet.)

Today I spent doing ground crew duties (my plane is supposed to be fixed by Thursday). Myself and one of the guys did some interior and exterior detailing of one of our aircraft. I'm going to be so sore tomorrow!

I've got a new toy at work - a laminating maching. I'm trying to find stuff around the office to laminate because I do need to practice with it, and figure out the best way to do it, but I don't want to just waste the laminating pouches.

Just found out that we've got tickets to the pre-season Avalanche game against our fiercest rivals the Detroit Red Wings. (Although Vancouver is right up there too, with what Bertuzzi did to Steve Moore!)
I LOVE hockey and I LOVE my Avalanche!!!

Candie, it sounds like life is showing a semblance of normalcy for you. I'm so glad.

Gail, you sound so happy to be at the end of this part of your career life. Good for you!

Well, I got up around 6:30 because Ian the moron decided to wake me up a half hour too early. Silly boy!

I left for work at quarter to 8, worked until 9. The father of the two girls I watch was hom eall morning and spent the morning SCREAMING at his daughters (while I was there) and I felt so bad....
Then, I had lit class, and I basically counted the minutes from 10:10 until 11:40.
I had a break, so I ate a subway sandwich then warmed up for my lesson, which was at 2. It went pretty well today. Then, I had Wind Esnemble. After that, I came home, made dinner, and here I am! On the docket for tonight is writing a paper...blech.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
When I got off work at 8am this morning, I accidently locked my purse in the family's home as they were leaving to take the little girl who is my patient to a Dr.'s appt. I called the office and they had to call all over to find the friend of the family listed as their emergency contact so she could come let me in the house to get my purse!

After that, I ran lots of errands and finally got home around noon, I believe. Have been doing laundry and catching up on things that needed to be done. Serenity has been worlds of help with the cleaning
, and Sierra has carefully supervised to ensure we were doing everything properly!
Sat outside on the porch for quite a while, and it was just lovely! I have a new kitty in my colony apparently. He just wandered up tonight as if he's always been here!

Now time to settle down for the evening! About to hop in the shower and into my jammies! My girls are waiting
(im)patiently because they know when I get out of the shower, they'll get their evening treat!

The boys are back with me this week. Football practice tonight, then home for a big pot of chicken and noodles I made today. It was wonderful! Joe will be home late, he says he is planning to take me out for my birthday this week because he was working Monday. We'll see, there is just so much we have to get finished in the three days he is home!

Sophie fell into the toilet tonight. She was not amused. Luckily, it was clean....and flushed. All she hurt was her pride.

We finally watched last week's episode of Lost. Weird one! The boys went to bed a couple of hours ago, and I'm finally heading that way myself. I'm sure my book will coerce me into a few chapters first, though!

It has been a long day for me. It is very nearly Thursday here.

I got up at about 7am this morning, relaxed and had breakfast - hung out on the net. Fed the cats, etc and then had a shower and got dressed and walked down to my boyfriends at about 9am.

He was really sick, which is sad but it was really nice spending the day with him.

At about 4pm I left and walked over to my Nanas and bathed two of our kittens, Baby & Thunderpants then I watched some Sky TV and we had Bacon, Eggs & Garlic Bread for dinner with Peaches, Vanilla Ice-cream and Chocolate sauce for dessert!

Then at 7:30PM we had a cat meeting, talking about our upcoming show this Saturday!

I got home just before 10pm and bathed and dried my kitty Bridget. Now I'm completely buggered and off to bed.

Good night all!

It's 14.40 on Wednesday here. I'm home, as I have been all day. I have a flu, but it's getting better. I'm supposed to work on my research plan for my meeting with the professor on Friday, bit on a stand still at the moment, since I haven't been able to get all the material due to my illness.

So, I'm mostly hanging out with the cats and on the computer, happy I got at least some reading done.
When hubby comes home from work, we're gonna eat and watch some anime DVDs my sister lend us.

I am so sick
I feel like I'm going to faint, my throat is killing me, I think I have a fever, etc.. but here I am at work
I am training a new girl too so I need to talk constantly and it's hurting my throat so badly
I just want to sleep. I think I'm going to make a cup of tea.
