I'm thinking of getting one of these but they look an awfull lot like the Glade Plug-In Scented oil (with fan)

http://www.glade.com/fragrance-oils/

Was wondering if anyone can tell me if the refill of the Feliway Comfort Zone would fit into the Glade Oil Plug In ? I already have one of those and would save about 15$ on the diffuser (I could spend that on more cat stuff !) by just buying the oil. I have to order online so I won't be able to see it before I buy it.

Thanks for the help !

No, you would have to buy the whole thing

That's OK. If I could fit the Feliway refill bottle into the Glade Plug In then I could save myself having to buy the Feliway diffuser. But from what Emb_78 says, they're not compatible.

Darn !

Have you tried the spray?

Nope. Which would you recommend ? My cat has decided to mark his territory and unfortunately that includes ME !! In the middle of the night, I'm being peed on... ICK!!

Must break that habit before it gets out of hand !

Have you seen this thread about inappropriate urination? (click here)

Assuming your boy is neutered (if he's not, get it done ASAP before the marking becomes an established habit!)...

The first thing to suspect any time a cat starts urinating in unusual places is a urinary tract problem...it's best to invest in a trip to the vet before trying the Feliway, because if he has a health problem, none of the behavioral measures will help.

If he checks out OK at the vet and you want to try Feliway, the diffuser is really nice for general calming/inappropriate elimination because it fills the area, and if he eliminates in certain spots, you can use the Feliway spray on those (after using an enzyme cleaner to remove all traces of urine odor).

Hey! I'll give you a cheat! Any of those oil warmers that you already have, you can simply pop the top off of an empty oil, and pour the FeliAway in to refill it! Then pop the top back on, and plug it in. That would save you having to buy the diffuser. If you've already bought one, you can do this to supplement it another part of your home. I hope this helps!
