Attacked by Cats or Mosquitos?

I just read that the chemical in catnip that gives it the aroma that drives cats wild is also an extremely effective mosquito repellant.

If this product were developed in a spray on form to ward off mosquitos, I wonder what the warning label would read like?

By the way, catnip is also supposed to kill termites.

can u just imagine it walking down the street being attacked by cats but the mozzies keeping well away

Me too!, I hate flying biting bugs

I hate misquitoes! I'd rather take the cats too

We need to get rid of the mosquitos (thank goodness for a frost any day now) - there's been several death's in New England from EEE!! Scary thing!

I think I am going to try an experiment.

Mosquito season has just started over here, so when I get home tonight I will spray myself with my kitties catnip spay and go and sit outside for a bit. I will let you all know if it works

Hope there are no lions around! (No, I don't really think there are lions walking down the streets all over South Africa )

Oh wow, I hope this works. It would be a huge relief for this pregnant woman Then all I had to figure out would be how to survive the heat...lol

so what would happen if you sprayed the cat? You'd get attacked by both or what?
