I got some possibley bad news today

I took my dog Gigi to the vet ... she needed her ears checked... The vet said she likely has a middle ear infection and may need surgery... I am so hoping the antibiotics will take care of it .,... she is on them for 1-2 months ... I can handle the pills 60 bucks a month $$ tag but surgery is way out of the budget.. Yes my vet will work with me if it comes to it .. I am just scared she will be 8 in Nov ...

Eveything should be fine. I would highly suggest a Geriatric blood profile!! Make sure everything is working correctly, and helps them tell what kind of meds to use to knock her out

also...have you been going to this vet for awhile...because in my experience if you are a loyal cutomer, your vet is more likely to set up payment plans with you........

When Emmet was sick....we had over a thusand dollars in bills.....we ate ramen...didnt pay rent, cancelled cable, borrowed money, and it still wasnt enough....at that point the vet bartered his services for johns computer services...so that was cool......

just remember.....things are never hopeless.....

I hope the antibiotics work.
