Good luck to you! Just be sure to have lots of ice on hand (to keep the swelling down) - and make sure you take some pain meds (Advil - Ibuprofen works well for me - better than the stuff the dentist prescribed with less side effects). Also be sure to have some soft foods (pudding, icecream, etc.) and don't use a straw (the suction can cause a dry socket).

Good luck,
I've had numerous oral surgeries so I know what you're going through!
Take care of yourself and keep us posted!

Good luck! I had that done many years ago. It really did help to make a tad more room and straighten things out a bit.

Good luck to you. Hopefully you'll at least get to eat a lot of ice cream afterwards! When I had my wisdom teeth cut out I ate quite a bit- that can be at least one upside

Yikes! I hate the dentist! I need to go but have been putting it off for to long now. Even though my dentist is the greatest because he knows what kind of chicken I am.
Sending healing vibes to you for a speedy recovery!

You're going to do great! I rather enjoyed having my wisdom teeth out. The anesthesia is really something! You will feel nothing during the procedure at all, and they will help you to minimize any discomfort afterward. Just think how great your teeth will look coming in now!

Good Luck - and make sure you do exactly what he says afterwards. I know someone that didn't and it resulted in a lot of pain for no reason!
