Anyone start their Christmas shopping yet? I'm already starting to panic (it comes so quickly once October arrives). Every year I try to start earlier to avoid the chaos - but somehow manage to get behind anyway.

Gotta get going on my stitching that I'm doing for Christmas...

Other than that, I'm not terribly worried. Earl and I do a LOT of our shopping for each other at the Early Bird Sales on the day after Thanksgiving. We go through all the ads and find the store we need to hit first. We get a lot more for the money for a bit less sleep.

I didn't realize this. I'll have to search for it. Thanks!

I buy things all year round as well, however this year I don't have much put aside yet. Along with storebought items, I like to throw in handmade gifts like jewelry, soaps, bath oils and lip balms, pomander balls made with rosebuds and lavendar or cinnamon and cloves, recipe cards, etc. Usually I get a bunch of things at fairs and then hit the sales at the malls and other shops. Even the dollar stores have neat things sometimes.
If I get ambitious this year, I'd like to make my own cat treats and bird treats.

That's where I buy about 95% of my Christmas gifts, lol.

I'm not giving presents this year. We are only giving presnets to our parents. I am working on a scrap book of our trip to Canada this year for the in-laws. My parents are remodeling their kitchen, so I will get something that has to do with that!! I just finished putting up my Halloween decorations!!!

If you are referring to the one on this site, yes they already posted a thread about it.
