How do i feel for the lymph nodes?

Hi...

could anyone tell me how to feel for a cats lymph nodes?

where are they located and how do i know if they are swollen or not?

how big should the ones under the jaw be?

and what are the causes of enlarged/swollen lymph nodes?

could there be any reason for a cat to have swollen lymph nodes without being sick?

for example with people, sometimes the nodes swell when the body is fighting infection ...

am asking just out of curiosity.
