Hi everyone,
My name is Ric. Long time lurker, first time member to these boards.
Currently residing in WNY (which i hate) with my wife 2 kids 1 dog, 1 tarantula, fish and most importantly 4 feline companions. My wife and I volunteer at the local SPCA and another no kill shelter.
I have a website for my Puddies, but currently its being used as a template for my local SPCA so i will put up a link on My sig when complete. I would love to let everyone see my feline friends. You all have so many wonderful looking animals and stories.
To give you an idea about me, im southern boy bread, born and raised. I feel deeply about the suffering of any of Gods creaturesâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji] especialy our furry 4 legged ones. I always stop for any animal in need and do all i can for it. For which more than one employer has saw as an issue.
Cats and I have always had a deep emotional understanding. I am one of those guys that walks into a room and the cat the never comes out for anyone will come out and see me. Or that cat that never lets anyone touch its tummy loves it when i give it a tummy rub. I donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t know why, but itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s always been that way. I feel itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s a blessing.
Cats to me show the diversity in color, personality and physical appearance only seconded by man. And just like man, i love and respect every cat regardless of appearance.
Having volunteered for the SPCA and Feral cat centers i have no patience for breeders or the arrogance they propagate with their capitalistic idolatry they impose on living creatures. There are far to many wonderful loving creatures up for adoption for someone to pay for a living status symbol.
I will do my best to stay off the breeders section of the forums, but you have been warned
Its nothing personal, but it would be far more productive if the vast amount of monies spent on shallow gene pools were donated to the local SPCA to rescue a truly thankful creature. Enough of the soap box.
I just wanted to say “hi†and thank the many great welcomes ive already received.
I look forward to sharing many wonderful cat experiences and weeping with your losses.
