kneading my face while nuzzling nose in my eye!!

She is now almost 1 year old on March 24, but ever since Paprika was a kitten she would always come to bed with me. When she got comfy she would start to knead into my cheeks and nuzzle her nose into my eye. I would lie sideways with my head on my pillow and so would she. She would then scoot up to me and put one paw between my face and the pillow and her other paw on my other cheek that was facing up. She puts her nose and mouth into my eye and starts to nuzzle it. She also switches back and forth between eyes, all the while purring. Then she starts to lick my eyes. I don't mind it so I let her go crazy. I don't have any idea why she does it; the only thing that I might have on my face is my lotion that I wear so my face won't dry out. One more thing, I am the only one that she will do it to, not my boyfriend, just me. If anyone can tell me why she does this I would greatly appreciate it!!

She is telling you in her own way that she loves you and that you belong to her. When she rubs her face on yours it puts her scent on you. It's kind of a way of marking you as hers. It's a big compliment when a cat does this. Give her a little kittie kiss tonight and tell her you love her too.
