We all love our kitties, we know that, but what's that one little annoying thing that your cat does to push your buttons (like any kid would do)?

For me, it's when Milo deliberately walks around bumping into or rubbing up against my chairs and little table and moving them. Then I have to get up and move them back and he does it all over again.
It's just one of those things he does all the time and I find a bit annoying.

Sara will pull tissues straight up out of the box and throw it on the floor and get another. And both of them will sit at my little trash can and lean into it, trying to find something to play with or eat.
I will them them no, and they will sit there and look at my while they do it.
I have came home to half a box of tissues on the floor, and trash on the floor.
It is so cute, but at the same time it irritates the hell out of me.

Rowan has taken to waking me up at 6:30... then 8:30 and if I try to fall asleep again, she bites me, even if I have already gotten up to feed her. >.<

I was up 'til 4 am. ;_; need more than 4 hrs sleep!

*chucks Rowan out the window*

That reminds me of another thing my two do. They will run around starting at around 7 a.m. (not too bad - I know) just to wake me up. If I ignore them, they'll keep running. As soon as I sit up and turn the lights on, they will both go back to sleep!!!! Pains in the butt they both are!!!

Sylvester loves to sleep under the covers, unfortunately she lets me know this by trying to dig them up herself, often missing and scratching at my FACE instead. More annoying however, is when I am NOT in bed OR under covers and she tries to get under my shirt
by digging at my chest. It's... strange...

Josie decided she likes her food wet instead of dry. So, she splashes water from her water bowl into her food bowl to make it wet. It leaves a sopping wet mess on my floor all the time.

Harley likes to do everything to be a terror!!

His favorite, I swear, is throwing his litter outside his liter box, making a huge mess on my floor, and then getting litter in his food bowl (they are close to eachother) and then he wont eat his food if it has that in it, so he sits there and cries until I take out the litter.

Oh, I think his favorite is waking me up at 4AM everyday, yes, everyday, not kidding, and biting my nose to wake me up and wanting to play. Come on, its 4AM!!

He is the king

I think it is adorable, till I am walking through the house wearing socks and I step in a puddle of water. And Chloe is sitting across the room staring at me as a I curse the whole way to the laundry room. I know she is quietly laughing at me... Brat!

Ha ha! Of course she's laughing at you - you are just a mere human after all!

Wiggies likes to pull his water bowl off the mat and spill water everywhere. They both like to drop things in and fish them out again. I'm thinking of getting them an aquarium (just kidding)!

The main thing Smidge does to annoy me - and, yes, she IS doing it on purpose - is walk on the dining room table. She perches, then waits to make sure I see her before she struts across. I dont have many rules, but that is a firm one - NO cat on the dining room table! She'll do it like 20 xs in a row too. I'll be doing something else and keep getting up saying NO!, she gets off, I sit down, she gets up again, I get up, and so on...

Ha ha. These are great.

It's not really annoying, but when we cuddle at night, Josie sits down with her butt in my face. I found out this is how cats identify the momma cat and they do this for cleaning and inspection. Granted, I'm not going to clean or inspect her butt,
but I like to know she calls me her momma cat.

Hobbes loves to push the envelope on what he can and can't do. He knows what his bounderies are, but for some reason tries to get away with things anyway. I would say that's our chief thing that just pushes our buttons with him!

As far as Sunny...well, she can be quite obstinent sometimes. If we see her doing something she shouldn't be, we tell her no, and can tell her literally about ten times, and she'll just sit there, in the middle of being naughty, and not leave whatever it is alone. For instance, if she jumps up somewhere she's not allowed (and VERY well knows it) and we tell her to get down, she'll just stand there (as if we'll forget she's there), and we have to totally get up and start coming over for her to jump down like we've asked. It gets just REALLY too much sometimes.

Overall, we have very wonderful kitties...but I think all kitties have SOMETHING that they love to do to cause an effect on their humans.

Not to pry, but have you tried velcro-ing the bowl to the floor? Our Sunny did the same thing, and we had to find some pretty strong velcro to put on the bowl (and match to the floor), so she couldn't tip it anymore. After about six months of her realizing she couldn't, we took it off, and she didn't realize it...she hasn't even tried because she thinks it's still there.

Just a thought...
