My parents have a white cat that was abandoned by her owner when she moved and so they took her in. A lovely cat, and now she has really taken to me, follows me everywhere, talks to me all the time and purrs when I make kissing noises.

Well, today, I come into my bedroom and find a big dead baby bird. Yuck. She is sitting on the bed looking at me. Oh boy. Dad gets rid of the body. All is well. Just a gift for me. Lovely.

Then about 2 hours later, I come back into the room and there is another dead bird, this time an adult adn theres blood on the floor. Oh dear. Shes sitting on the bed looking at me.

I guess she really likes me now. My new best friend.

But now I am having a hard time removing the carpet - its well settled into the carpet. Any tips?

Oxyclean works real well, too. What a kind kitty. Maybe its time for her to become an inside only cat? We had a barn cat who brought dh a mouse every day for years! That could get messy inside!

Wow. That's 365 mice per year. He sure put a dent in the local rodent population.

This kitty is an outdoor/indoor cat like most cats in NZ - theres not so many wild animals to worry about like in the USA and Phantom always stays on the property - doesnt leave LOL. I dont think she would like being indoor only.
But Peedoodle and Kahu are definitely indoor only and would not let them out because of PEedoodle lack of claws
and Kahu's deafness.

I will have to see if theres oxyclean here. Thanks for the tips.

I found another present this morning in my bedroom. Guess what it was?

A sausage! I don't know where it came from but I sure had a good giggle over it when I saw it!
